Teen Shot In Nearby Vacaville, In Stable Condition

The boy was shot in a neighborhood off Marshall Road, police said. [Breaking]

SOLANO COUNTY, CA – Vacaville police are looking for one or more people suspected of shooting and wounding a teen boy Wednesday night, a police spokesman said.

The teen was shot at about 11 p.m. in the area of Trinity and Mono drives off Marshall Road after a talking to or arguing with at least one person, police spokesman Lt. Matt Lydon said.

A motive for the shooting and what led up to it are still being investigated, but it appears the attack might be gang-related, Lydon said.

The suspect or suspects could have fled the area in a vehicle. The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to a hospital where he was in stable condition as of Thursday evening, according to Lydon.
