Hosted at the Courtyard by Marriott Monrovia, it features journals, pens, creative supplies, and workshops. Timed-entry tickets are available online, with free admission for children 12 and under and free parking. 
• Monrovia Duarte Black Alumni Association To Host Annual Scholarship Gala (patch.com) — Residents connected to Duarte and Monrovia are invited to a Nov. 14 scholarship gala honoring local Black alumni who serve as pastors and community leaders. The Monrovia Duarte Black Alumni Association will host the dinner event at the DoubleTree in Monrovia, featuring entertainment, stories of service, and a faith-focused theme. Tickets are $75 and available through Eventbrite.
