24 Garages Flooded After Car Hits Hydrant In Dublin
Firefighters worked for 30 minutes to get the water turned off.

DUBLIN, CA — Firefighters in Dublin worked to shut off a fire hydrant sheared off during a collision Wednesday evening, Alameda County Fire officials said. The damaged hydrant, which sent thousands of gallons of water into the air for about 30 minutes, was reported near Central Parkway and Persimmon Drive at about 5:40 p.m.
More than 20 garages were flooded with the water runoff. No one was injured during the incident. No other information is available.
