5 Cars Burglarized In Dublin Last Weekend, Police Say

BREAKING: Police are hosting a free burglary prevention meeting in August.

DUBLIN, CA — A San Francisco man who was arrested in Dublin over the weekend on suspicion of auto burglary was caught with the victim’s property, police officials said. Witnesses identified the man, who allegedly burglarized a car that was parked in the area of Golden Gate Drive and St. Patrick Way, according to police.

Cars parked in the area of Dublin Boulevard and Lockhart Street and in the Hacienda Crossings shopping center were also burglarized last weekend, police said.

In nearby San Ramon, 13 smash-and-grab car break-ins and vandalism cases were reported in one night earlier this month, according to police. The San Ramon Police Department said the cases occurred overnight from July 5 at about 10 p.m. to July 6 at 6 a.m. in neighborhoods west of San Ramon Valley Boulevard between Pine Valley and Bollinger Canyon roads.

Dublin Police Services will be hosting a free burglary prevention meeting on August 5 at the Dublin Library. Residents are invited to attend.

The Dublin Library is located at 200 Civic Plaza.
