BREAKING: South Lake Tahoe Man Arrested, Suspected in Dublin Home Invasion Robbery Attempt
Matthew Muller, 38, was arrested on Tuesday. Police say Muller entered the home through a first floor window, which was open.

Dublin Police investigators, along with the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office, arrested a 38-year-old South Lake Tahoe man suspected of an attempted home invasion robbery in east Dublin last week.
According to police, the alleged robbery attempt was reported on June 5 at about 3:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of North Terracina, after a Dublin couple awoke to a man in their bedroom.
“The suspect entered the home through a first floor open window and went upstairs, where the husband, wife, and older daughter were sleeping,” Dublin Police Lieutenant Herb Walters said. “The suspect woke up the husband and wife and attempted to tie them up. The wife got away and ran into the bathroom, where she then called 9-1-1 from her cell phone.”

Walters said the husband fought with the suspect, pulling his mask off.
“The suspect then ran downstairs and out of the house,” Walters said. “Dublin Police units searched the area, but did not locate the suspect.”
