Brush Fire Burns 200 Hundred Acres On Camp Parks
Smoke from the blaze could be seen all over Tri-Valley. Watch.

DUBLIN, CA — Firefighters have extinguished a vegetation fire reported in Dublin Tuesday afternoon, fire officials said. The blaze, which quickly burned about 200 acres, was reported sometime around 2 p.m. on the Parks Reserve Forces Training Area property known as Camp Parks. Residents in Wallis Ranch were temporarily evacuated to Emerald Glen Park due to the heavy smoke. No injuries were reported. Tassajara Road has been reopened to traffic.
When it first started, the fire sent up a huge plume of smoke across Dublin. The Alameda County Fire Department recommended that people with respiratory problems remain indoors, shut the windows and other sources of outside air.
Smoke from the blaze could be seen all over Tri-Valley for about two hours.
