Win a chance to have your energy-themed mural decorate the microgrid backup power station at Camp Parks. Submission deadline is Nov. 30.

(Google Maps)

DUBLIN, CA — Camp Parks is holding a contest to find a mural that will adorn a side of the Parks Reserve Forces Training Area’s energy microgrid e-house, which measures 21 by 10 feet.

Once complete, the microgrid will ensure that the base is powered even when the power grid goes down. See here for more information.

To highlight this, Camp Parks is asking for mural designs that highlight the theme of energy resilience, in addition to themes of conservation, efficiency and climate change.
