Christmas Season at Lynnewood UMC

Come join us for music, worship and celebration!

Sunday morning worship in December is at 9:00 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. (except for Dec 27 - see below)

December 8 - Come hear the award winning Voices in Harmony as they fill our sanctuary with sounds of the season at 7:30 p.m. From a Gregorian chant to Handel to the Beach Boys, come be inspired by their thrilling sound. You’ll hear stories of the season that will touch and amuse you. Guest artists include the quartets Brannigan and the Merry Yentlemen. Tickets are $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors and $15 for students. They are available from Steve Kirch or at the door.

December 13 - Valley Concert Chorale sings selections from Bach’s Christmas Oratorio and other music at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance (866-4003) or $25 at the door. then ALL are welcome to join us as we carol to shut-ins on Sunday afternoon (December 13th). Meet at the Lynnewood parking lot at 2:00 p.m. where we will form carpools and pass out maps. You do NOT have to be a member of the choir. Song sheets with the words are provided. We’ll be back no later than 5:00 p.m. So come and make a joyful noise in service to others!

December 24 - Christmas Eve Worship Services
5:30 - Candlelight Family Service with nursery care.
7:00 - Candlelight Service with Choir and Violin, children welcome.
9:30 - Candlelight Service with Choir and Violin, children welcome.

December 27 - 10:30 a.m. Service only

Childcare is provided at both services on Sunday mornings, as well as our 5:30 Christmas Eve service. Children are welcome in all services.
