Cops Replace Teen Robbery Victim's Stolen Christmas Gift Cards
"No one deserves to be a victim, but especially not a child," a Dublin police spokesperson said.

DUBLIN, CA — A Pleasanton teenager who was robbed of her purse while she stood waiting by her mother’s car in the parking lot of the Hacienda Crossings shopping center in Dublin was recently given a very sweet surprise from some kind police officers.
Police said the suspect drove past the 13-year-old victim, reached out of his car window and snatched the purse from the unsuspecting girl's shoulder. The victim lost all of her Christmas cash and gift cards during the strong-arm robbery.
In a touching random act of kindness, police officers involved with the case reached out to local businesses to replace the cards lost during the robbery. They called the victim to the police department to present her with the gift card bouquet.

"The innocence of this unsuspecting victim really touched the hearts of Dublin Police staff," police told Patch. "No one deserves to be a victim, but especially not a child. By giving back to her we hoped to bring a smile to her face and hopefully give her a sense of confidence in the community she resides."
Detectives were able to develop leads using witness information and surveillance footage, according to police. Two 17-year-old male juveniles and one 16-year-old male juvenile from Antioch, were identified as the suspects and were arrested last month. Their names will not be released.
