3 Suspected Of Robbing Teen Of X'mas Cash, Gift Cards Arrested
Detectives said witnesses helped them capture the Antioch teens suspected in the purse snatching robbery at Hacienda Crossings in Dublin.

DUBLIN, CA — Three Antioch teenagers suspected of robbing a Pleasanton teenager of her purse were arrested last week, Dublin police officials said. The victim's mother said they had just parked the car in the parking lot of the Hacienda Crossings shopping center in Dublin at about 4:15 p.m. on Jan. 14. The family planned to shop nearby when her 13-year-old daughter, who was standing at the back of the car waiting for her, was targeted.
Police said the suspect drove past the victim, reached out of his car window and snatched the purse from the girl's shoulder. The suspects fled the lot. The victim lost all of her Christmas cash and gift cards during the robbery.
Detectives were able to develop leads using witness information and surveillance footage, according to police. Two 17-year-old male juveniles and one 16-year-old male juvenile from Antioch, were identified as the suspects and were arrested on Friday. Their names will not be released.
