DUBLIN, CA — If you've ever wondered how police officers do their jobs, you might find answers in the upcoming Dublin Citizens Police Academy.

The 10-week course is open to adult Dublin residents and workers. Participants will tour the Alameda County Crime Lab, Coroner's Office, Juvenile Hall, Santa Rita Jail and more, the city said.

The goal of the Citizens Academy, the city says, is to educate the public about law enforcement and build a relationship with the community.
