Dogtopia Open In Dublin

The dog daycare and spa offers webcam technology in each playroom to allow pet parents to check on their fur babies.

DUBLIN, CA — A new dog daycare, spa and boarding facility recently opened in Dublin. Dogtopia celebrated its soft opening on Feb. 4. A grand opening date has not yet been announced.

Owner Joe Castorena, a local entrepreneur, said he had a dream of owning his own business. He plans to open a second Bay Area location later this year.

Dogtopia offers education, exercise and socialization in a “fun, safe and comfortable environment.” The daycare offers webcam technology in each playroom to allow pet parents to check on their fur babies.

“We are thrilled to bring Dogtopia to the neighborhood and provide much-needed care for dogs in the area,” Castorena said in a statement. “Our mission is to create the most exciting day ever for pups, while giving their parents peace of mind while they’re away. Instead of being left alone at home or in an isolated kennel environment, Dogtopia provides an opportunity for our furry children to meet new friends, get exercise, enjoy playtime and have quality human interaction while at daycare.”

Dogtopia of Dublin is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Dogtopia is located at 8000 Amador Valley Blvd.
