Dublin CHP Volunteer Seeks Officer Who Saved Her Wedding In 1967
The Dublin CHP wants to find the officer who drove a bride in distress to her wedding and carried her flowers into the church 52 years ago.
DUBLIN, CA — The Dublin California Highway Patrol office is looking for help in finding an officer who drove a distressed bride to her wedding after encountering her broken down ride on the freeway 52 years ago. The officer carried her flowers into Oakland's Neighborhood Church on MacArthur Boulevard.
That bride is now a senior volunteer at the Dublin station, according to a Facebook post. The officer picked her up on Freeway 580 near 164th Avenue in San Leandro.
