DUBLIN, CA — The City of Dublin will inaugurate the opening of Butterfly Knoll Park, a 1.08-acre park in Tassajara Hills, on Saturday.

From 10-2, Dublin Mayor Melissa Hernandez, the park developers, and the community will gather for a grand opening of the city’s newest park, which features:

  • A butterfly garden
  • Adult fitness stations
  • A stepped amphitheater
  • Playground area
  • Picnic tables with a reservable picnic area
  • Barbecues
  • A mall area with fitness equipment
  • A large grassy area
  • A pollinator garden
  • A mural painted on the grand entry staircase by artist Joey Rose and neighborhood residents

The park, located at 7392 Rosamond Hills Court at the former location of Moller Ranch, also offers majestic views of Tassajara Creek and the surrounding hills. Since a design plan was finalized in 2018, it has cost about $1.05 million, according to a city website.
