EAST BAY, CA — Several people suspected of driving under the influence were arrested this weekend amid a California Highway Patrol operation on I-680.

The Dublin and Contra Costa offices collaborated overnight Saturday to pull off the enforcement operation. In one case, a driver was driving between the cones in a Caltrans road closure area, CHP — Dublin said.

Last night we teamed up with CHP Contra Costa catching many DUI drivers on I-680. One driver was even driving through the cone pattern for a Caltrans road closure. Could have been very bad!
