International Tech Company Leases Dublin Office

The company, worth an estimated $12.4 billion, plans to move in later this year, the City of Dublin announced.

DUBLIN, CA — Snowflake, a cloud data platform, has leased office space in the Dublin Corporate Center, the city announced. The company plans to move in this year.

Snowflake is based in San Mateo and has offices across the world, according to its website. The company, founded in 2012, serves more than 2,500 customers in fields such as health care, finance, technology, media and advertising, the city said.

The company is worth an estimated $12.4 billion, Forbes reported in February.

Earlier this month, Bay Area News Group first reported that Amazon had acquired a 202,000-square-foot office building at 5160 Hacienda Drive in Dublin for nearly $50 million. Amazon could fit 1,000 people in the Dublin building, Bay Area News Group reported.
