Tech Giant Shells Out $50M For Large Dublin Building
The 200,000-square-foot facility sits at 5160 Hacienda Drive, Bay Area News Group reported. The company has one other Tri-Valley location.
DUBLIN, CA — Amazon has acquired a 202,000-square-foot office building at 5160 Hacienda Drive in Dublin for nearly $50 million, Bay Area News Group reported. Amazon bought the building March 17.
Amazon could fit 1,000 people in the Dublin building, Bay Area News Group reported.
The news comes months after Amazon announced plans to open a 611,000-square-foot delivery center at 400 Longfellow Court in Livermore. The sprawling Livermore building is touted as the second largest existing warehouse under one roof within the nine Bay Area counties and is expected to speed up Bay Area deliveries and create hundreds of jobs.
