KRAFT RECALL ALERT: Metal Pieces Found in Mac & Cheese Prompts Massive Recall
Attention, parents: check any boxes of this Kraft macaroni and cheese you may have on the shelves.

Food industry giant Kraft Foods is recalling millions of boxes of one of its most popular family items— macaroni and cheese— ”... due to the possibility that some boxes may contain small pieces of metal.”
The company announced Tuesday that approximately 242,000 cases are affected by the voluntary recall. A spokesperson told NBC News that equates to approximately 6.5 million boxes of the product.

According to Kraft, the recall affects the 7.25 oz size boxes of “original flavor” macaroni and cheese with a “best by” date between September 18, 2015 through October 11, 2015. More specifically, only products with a “C2” printed underneath the date are included in the recall. See the image above for an idea of where to look on any boxes you may have.
“Consumers who purchased this product should not eat it,” Kraft said. “They should return it to the store where purchased for an exchange or full refund.”
