Here are the latest local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Dublin.

DUBLIN, CA — COVID-19 cases are on the rise in the Bay Area and Alameda County has seen big changes in recent weeks.

Alameda County reports 3,100 COVID-19 cases, meaning it has surpassed Santa Clara County, which was once considered the epicenter of the outbreak in California, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

As of Thursday 26 people in Dublin tested positive COVID-19 (40 cases per 100,000 people) and 54 people have tested positive in Santa Rita Jail, county statistics show.

In Livermore 50 people tested positive COVID-19 (49 cases per 100,000 people) and in Pleasanton 57 people (70 in 100,000 people) have contracted COVID-19.

In Alameda County there were 3,097 COVID-19 cases (+488 people) and 94 deaths (+4 deaths) associated with the virus.
