Latest Dublin Coronavirus Case Count
Alameda County reported more than 1,000 additional coronavirus cases over the past week.

DUBLIN, CA — Amid an uptick in cases of the coronavirus across the country, Alameda County reported that 63 Dublin residents have tested positive for COVID-19 over the course of the pandemic.
Last Monday, the county confirmed 49 cases in Dublin.
More than 1,200 Alameda County residents tested positive over a week-long period ending Saturday — the most recent day for which information is available as of Monday afternoon. That accounts for 18 percent of all coronavirus cases diagnosed in Alameda County so far.

As of Monday, 213 Livermore residents, 132 Pleasanton residents and 63 people at Santa Rita Jail have tested positive for COVID-19.

Alameda County Public Health Department officials addressed the recent surge in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations last week and announced plans to pause business reopenings. Communities of color have been hit particularly hard by the pandemic, officials said.

In order to continue opening, Alameda County must be able to demonstrate to the state health department that we are beating coronavirus. County health officials rely on the following data indicators to measure progress against the pandemic:
- rates of new cases and hospitalizations
- hospital inpatient bed capacity and surge capacity
- testing capacity
- disease containment capacity
- supply of personal protective equipment for health care providers.
