Local Youth Achieves Eagle Scout
Boy Scout's Highest Honor Achieved by Dublin High Senior

Cesar T. Dragula, son of Peter Dragula and Patricia Aguinaga of Dublin, has achieved Boy Scouting's highest rank, that of Eagle Scout.
Dragula, 18, is a member of Boy Scout Troop 968, sponsored by St. Raymond’s Catholic Church under the leadership of scoutmaster Doug Bond and, most recently, Lawrence Mui. Dragula began his scouting career as a Tiger Cub with Pack 917 and continued through Cub Scouting to achieve the highest award, the Arrow of Light.
As a member of Troop 968, Dragula has held numerous leadership positions including quartermaster, assistant patrol leader and senior patrol leader. He has earned 33 merit badges. Dragula attended the National Leadership Training Conference and volunteered on many community service projects throughout the years.

Dragula has attended many camp outings at Wente, Shadow Cliffs, Royeneh, Catalina Island and 2017 Bechtel Scout Jamboree in West Virginia. He has also interned for Sandia and Lawrence Livermore Labs, as well as participated in Cyberpatriots competitions.
For his Eagle Scout Service Project, Cesar Dragula coordinated a work crew that cleared brush and renovated a garden for special education students at Dublin High School. Cesar Dragula is a senior at Dublin High School, presently with a 4.0 GPA, and has early enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. After graduation, he will be attending boot camp at Camp Pendleton, where he has chosen to train in communications. He plans on majoring in digital animation after his service. He reached his goal of Eagle in February and will be celebrating his court of honor on March 30, 2018.
