Man Found Dead In Dublin, Suspect Detained: Dublin Police

A man was found dead Saturday with stab wounds and blunt-force trauma injuries, police said.

DUBLIN, CA — A man found with stab wounds and blunt-force trauma was pronounced dead in Dublin Friday evening, Dublin Police Services announced Saturday. One suspect has been detained.

At about 9:03 p.m., Dublin police responded to calls of an unresponsive male on the 5400 block of Campbell Lane, according to a department news release. Alameda County Fire personnel attempted life-saving efforts, but pronounced the victim dead. No identity has been released as of Monday morning.

Police say the victim was found with injuries consistent with stab wounds and other blunt-force trauma. Police contacted and detained Crystal Espinoza, 23, whom police believe was in a romantic relationship with the victim.

Espinoza was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and homicide based on evidence and an ongoing investigation, Dublin police said. She was transported to Santa Rita Jail.

This marks the second violent death in under a week in the Tri-Valley. On May 1, a man was found stabbed to death in a Pleasanton apartment building. On May 6, he was identified as Edevion White. Two suspects, who are believed to have known White, remain at-large as of Monday morning.
