Paint Your Pet's Portrait & Support East Bay SPCA

Sign-ups are underway for the March "Paint Fur A Purpose" event in Dublin.

DUBLIN, CA — Pet lovers are invited to create hand-painted portraits of their beloved critters at an afternoon event that also supports the East Bay SPCA.

"Paint Fur A Purpose" will be Sunday, March 22, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dublin facility at 4651 Gleason Drive, and registration is underway.

Budding artists will work from photos of their pets then be guided step-by-step by instructor Ammo.

The cost is $100 with a portion of proceeds going to the animal-care facility. All materials are provided, and wine and refreshments will be served.
