Photo of the Week: Incredible Shot of Sunday's Lunar Eclipse
Patch loves photos. Share your photos with Dublin Patch and your work could be featured.

By BRENDAN KRISEL (Patch Staff)
On Sunday night people all across the United States were treated to a sight that hasn’t been seen since 1982 — the supermoon lunar eclipse.
A lunar eclipse happens when the Earth passes between the sun and the moon. The moon enters the Earth’s shadow, creating a reddish glow on the moon. (We’re actually in the middle of a cycle of three supermoons in a row. The first showed up Aug. 29, and the last will be Oct. 27.)
Dublin resident and East Bay photographer Heather Grimm shared this amazing shot of Sunday’s supermoon eclipse.
