'Ruby Affair' Gala Will Celebrate 40 Years In Dublin
On Aug. 6, Dublin will celebrate its 40th birthday with a black-tie gala at the Heritage Park and Museums.
DUBLIN, CA — Dublin will continue to celebrate its ruby anniversary with the Ruby Affair.
Tickets are on sale for the deluxe gala celebrating the city’s 40th birthday party. The Ruby Affair will take place Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. at Dublin’s Heritage Park and Museums and feature appetizers, dinner, music and dancing.
Guests will also view a documentary following the city’s history from incorporation efforts until the present day.

Tickets cost $100 and are available for purchase here. The event is for guests 21 and older, and cocktail attire is encouraged.
The city is celebrating its ruby year in a number of different ways: submissions just closed for the 40th anniversary T-shirt logo design contest. Through Aug. 4, Dublin history buffs can earn an unspecified prize through visiting Dublin’s most notable historic sites and tracking their progress on the GooseChase app. See here to learn more.
