'Splatter' Celebration Set For Sept. 9
Dublin's annual festival will feature music, dance, food, a lighted drone show, and more. Performance applications are available.
DUBLIN, CA — Dublin is looking for performers for Splatter, its annual multicultural festival that will take place at Emerald Glen Park on Saturday, Sept. 9.
Anyone interested in performing music, dance, poetry, spoken word, etc. can submit a video up to three minutes in length by Aug. 15 to lauren.marriott@dublin.ca.gov. Performances should be 45 minutes long and appropriate for a general audience.
The rest of the event is jam-packed with bands like Pop ROCKS, Saved by the 90s, and the Illeagles Eagles tribute band. Other performances will include Thunder Kung Fu, RAPA, WeDance Chinese Ballet, and the Camp Parks Army Band. Guests can also view the High Life art exhibit at The Wave, a tasting pavilion, roaming entertainers, interactive art activities, a carnival, and art demonstrations. At the end of the event, guests will enjoy a 200-lighted drone show above Emerald Glen Park.
