Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Dublin Man With Warrant, Concord Woman

Officers stopped the 'suspicious vehicle' soon after a resident reported two suspects had knocked on the door early in the morning.

DANVILLE, CA: A traffic stop of a suspicious vehicle in a Danville neighborhood lead to the arrest of a Dublin man early Tuesday morning, Danville Police officials said.

Police said officers on patrol in the area of Morris Ranch and Podva roads stopped the car around 2:50 a.m. Tuesday. The driver, identified as Alan Grana, 45, of Dublin was found to have a warrant and was arrested. The passenger, Concord resident Victoria Vickry, 22, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license, police said.

According to Lt. Allan Shields, during the traffic stop, a resident in the same area called to report two people who came to the door asking for someone who did not live at the address.

Shields said the two people in the car were believed to be the same suspects who knocked on the door earlier.

“The female arrestee was the driver as the pair drove into the community and the male was the driver on the way out,” Shields said.

Grana was also charged with possession of burglary tools and driving on a suspended license. Police said both suspects were booked at the Martinez Detention Facility.
