Tri-Valley CHP Fundraising For Special Olympics NorCal

The California Highway Patrol, Dublin office is seeking to raise $1,000 to support inclusion in sports.

DUBLIN, CA — The California Highway Patrol, Dublin office is fundraising to support inclusion in sports through Special Olympics Northern California.

CHP is looking to raise $1,000 to support as part of the organization's Journey To Summer Games fundraiser.

Registration is $20. People are encouraged to bike, walk, run, roller blade and more, and document the distance they've traveled, the Special Olympics said. People are invited to share photos and details of their virtual event by tagging @SONorCal and using the #BetterTogether hashtag on Facebook and Twitter.

Registrants will receive a playlist, virtual Opening Ceremony event and inspirational messages from NorCal Special Olympics athletes. Learn more about the fundraiser here.

Special Olympics said it has provided athletic programming for 24,000 people with intellectual disabilities.
