U.S. Bank in Dublin Robbed by Bearded Bandit Tuesday

Police say the suspected serial robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

DUBLIN, CA: A man who allegedly robbed a bank in Dublin Tuesday evening may be the same suspect who robbed a Pleasanton bank on Thursday, police officials said.

The robbery occurred at the U.S. Bank located in the Safeway Store at 4440 Tassajara Road at about 6:30 p.m. on March 15. According to police, the suspect gave the teller a demand note and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police describe the suspect as a white male. He was between 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall. He weighed about 170 pounds. Police say he was wearing a yellow-colored Notre Dame baseball cap, dark-colored sunglasses, a black short-sleeve button up shirt, and blue jeans.
