• 17 law enforcement officers remembered at Siskiyou County ceremony (actionnewsnow.com) — Dunsmuir residents are among those honored in Siskiyou County’s annual Peace Officer Memorial, which remembered former Dunsmuir Police Chief F.R. “Jack” Daw and 16 other fallen officers in Yreka today. The ceremony at the Old Courthouse also recognized four civilians killed while aiding law enforcement, with local agencies, chaplains, and musicians taking part in the tribute.
