Classroom Management Through Connection and Compassion (Two Saturdays)

It's tough for teachers in most of our schools:  Huge classes, restrictive curricula, and often the techniques teachers have been taught for classroom management involve rewards and punishments, in an attempt to control behavior. This class will introduce teachers to a paradigm of classroom management built on respect and support, and cover nonviolent communication skills, managing anger, and building students' emotional intelligence.
