National Night Out Brings Residents Together (Video)

About 100 people, including dozens of children, gathered in a parking lot across from the store on Colorado Boulevard to celebrate National Night Out in Eagle Rock. The nationwide event, observed every first Tuesday of August, is aimed at increasing community participation in local crime-fighting efforts.

Besides officers from the LAPD’s Northeast Community Station and representatives from the office of , key participants included members of Eagle Rock’s Neighborhood Watch, the , and the Eagle Rock Chamber of Commerce.
