📰 News we're reading
• The Man Behind M-A's Jazz Legacy (machronicle.com) — Students from East Palo Alto and surrounding communities are central to the story of how longtime director Frank Moura built Menlo-Atherton High School's jazz band into an internationally recognized program. Drawing in Pacific Islander and other local teens, he created a tight-knit musical family, took them to major festivals around the world, and left a legacy that current teachers and former students are still carrying forward today.
