• Richard Owens died in pedestrian accident on Foothill Freeway (newsline.com) — A 45-year-old man, Richard Owens, was struck and killed on the eastbound 210 Freeway near Madre Street in East Pasadena on April 12, with CHP’s Altadena office still investigating what happened. Authorities say at least two white SUVs stopped at the scene, and no other injuries were reported, highlighting ongoing safety concerns for pedestrians near high-speed corridors.
