• Juliana Magdaleno helps King girls flag football team turn tables on Norco (modbee.com) — A Big VIII League girls flag football showdown in Eastvale saw King High's offense explode at Roosevelt High School, avenging an earlier tournament loss to Norco. Sophomore quarterback Juliana Magdaleno threw for 306 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another score, keeping King tied atop the league standings with Santiago heading into a key matchup later this month. 
• Synchronized Traffic Signals Coming To All Of Western Riverside County As Part Of Pilot Program (patch.com subscription) — Drivers in Eastvale could see smoother commutes in coming years as a new state-approved pilot will synchronize traffic lights across all Western Riverside County cities, including Eastvale. The Western Riverside Council of Governments and Caltrans will coordinate signals on highways and local streets through 2032, aiming to cut delays, improve travel-time reliability, and reduce emissions without tapping the state's general fund.
