Allessandro Elementary on Lockdown after Report of Two Men, Possibly Armed, on Campus

Police have gone to Allessandro Elementary School, 2210 Riverside Drive in the Silver Lake area, on an anonymous call that two men, possibly armed, entered the campus, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

There are no witnesses who have seen anyone, but the campus is being searched as a precaution, the LAPD reports. The school is on lockdown, and students are being kept in their classrooms, according to the Los Angeles Unified School District.
