Citizens of the World - Silverlake/Echo Park opening up spots for 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade

Citizens of the World Silver Lake is opening up spots for students entering 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade in September 2012. Our first day of school will be September 5th and there is still time to join. 

If you enroll now, you will secure a spot for your child in this progressive, academically rigorous charter school based on the constructivist method. This is an exciting new public school in the neighborhood led by a non-profit organization, top tier educators, and an energized parent community.  We'll be adding grade levels every year with the plan of going up to 12th grade.

The first Citizens of the World school, CWC - Hollywood, has been tremendously successful and now CWC - Silver Lake will bring this 21st century classroom to more children from diverse backgrounds.

While our Kindergarten grade is full, we do offer "sibling priority" for any Kindergarten student who has an enrolled sibling in 1st - 3rd grades! 

We have our new principal, Dr. Ramona Patrick, and we have hired excellent teachers and teachers' assistants - all of whom bring tremendous experience and enthusiasm to our goal of making CWC - SL one of the top public schools in the country.
