Watch out for female thief in a Jeep Cherokee

Today 5/14/12, I left my double stroller inside our complex on Lucretia Ave as my sister was going to be using it to take my kids out for a walk. A woman in her mid twenties pulled up and had the stroller in her older model greyish-brown Jeep Cherokee as my husband walks out to his car and asks what she's doing with our stroller. He was able to take it back but we were very lucky he caught her on time. He got her license plate number and will be filing a police report. This is a $700 stroller so it would've been a sad day if she had managed to get away with it. Yes, I will never leave it there again but this is just a warning to our neighbors to make sure to lock your valuables even when they are inside your property. 
This happened this morning around 10:30 am in the 1800 block of Lucretia Ave. 

I will post updates once we file the police report. 

UPDATE:

My husband went to file a police report at the Northeast station and they told him that filing a report wouldn't do much in court except waste his time and money because it's a he said/she said situation. Since we were able to get our stroller back there isn't much they can do.

On that note, please look out for an 95-96 model greyish-brown Jeep Cherokee lic. plate 3TQD293.

The officer said if we see her car, to call the police dept. and say she's been known to have this reputation and they will come check it out 213-928-8823
