Driver Killed in Crash with Big Rig in Elysian Park Area
A 29-year-old Sun Valley man died early Tuesday morning in a crash on the Golden State (5) Freeway.
LOS ANGELES, CA -- A motorist was killed today in a collision with a big rig on the Golden State (5) Freeway in the Elysian Park area, authorities said.
The crash on the northbound freeway just south of Glendale (2) Freeway occurred at 1:27 a.m., said California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos.
Marco Ordonez, 29, of Sun Valley died at the scene, the coroner's office reported. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
