The third annual FMLY Fest is the ultimate pre-New Years Eve kick-off for artists, activists, cyclists, foodies and other socially-conscious misfits to come together for two days of music, friends and good times.
2011 will go down as the biggest FMLY Fest yet, with 45 bands from LA and around the globe including Kid Infinity, Halloween Swim Team, So Many Wizards, Truman Peyote and Dream Panther. They will be filling your ear holes while going head-to-head in various combos of round robin and battle of the band-style competitions. Local labels No Kings and Complicated Dance Steps will provide “chill-out tents” for patrons suffering from overstimulation of the senses.
To promote their progressive ethos, FMLY will be powering this year’s festivity with solar cells provided by Power of Green Los Angeles while eco-conscious entrees will be dished-out by Food Not Bombs and Revolutionary Autonomous Communities. To reduce parking congestion, FMLY fest encourages all comers to cycle or take public transit and bike valets will be on site to make sure your wheels stay secure.
