Free Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven
The convenience store chain is celebrating its birthday with a giveaway all day.
It's free Slurpee day at 7/11!
The convenience store chain is celebrating its 86th birthday on Thursday by giving away free, 12-ounce Slurpees to every customer who stops by between the hours of 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. and asks for them.
"7-Eleven Day, July 11, occurs at the approximate midpoint of summer and the Slurpee season when summer fun is in high gear,” said Laura Gordon, 7-Eleven's vice president of marketing and brand innovation in a press release issued on the company's website.
Stores in Echo Park and Silver Lake will also be participating, including the 7-Eleven locations at 2200 West Sunset Blvd., 1647 Silver Lake Blvd. and
4460 Santa Monica Blvd.
While the free giveaway will last all day, the offer is good only as long as supplies last.
