On March 16th, my stepmother Lorna Gillette was diagnosed with breast cancer after finding a 4 cm cancerous tumor in her left breast and lymph nodes with forming cancer cells.
Almost a month later, on April 10th, she had her breast removed and doctors learned that the lymph nodes under her arm were also cancerous - meaning that the cancer has officially spread beyond the breast tissue.
She began her chemo treatment on May 23rd, and the medical bills have already piled up. Just from the bills that have come in so far, it's over $7,000.

Lorna is a phenomenal woman, who helped raise me to be the woman I am today. I would not be who I am now, had it not been for her.
