Motorcycle Crash Causes Morning SigAlert on 101 Freeway in Echo Park
At least one person was hospitalized in a crash that forced the closure of all northbound lanes of the Hollywood (101) Freeway in Echo Park.

LOS ANGELES, CA - A collision between a motorcycle and another vehicle on the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway this morning temporarily shut down all northbound lanes in the Echo Park area and injured at least one person, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash on the northbound 101 at Rampart Boulevard took place just before 5 a.m., said CHP Officer Tony Polizzi.
At least one person was injured and transported to a hospital, Polizzi said. There was no immediate word on the victim's condition.

Around 5:20 a.m., the CHP opened up two of the lanes and the other three lanes were reopened at 5:40 a.m., Polizzi said. The SigAlert was then cancelled.
The crash was under investigation by the CHP.
