Police Chase Through Silver Lake-Echo Park Area Ends in Arrest
A suspected burglar led police on a high speed chase through Los Angeles.
A robbery suspect led police on a car chase today from South Los Angeles to the Los Feliz area, where he surrendered.
The chase began about 12:20 p.m., near the 300 block of East 101st Street, when officers saw a car matching a description of a vehicle wanted in connection with a robbery, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers tried to pull the black car over, but it kept going, authorities say.

The suspect led police on a chase to near Sunset Boulevard and Vermont Avenue, where he stopped about 12:40 p.m.
He and a passenger surrendered after a brief standoff with police, the LAPD said.
