Police Seek Duo in Deadly Silver Lake Stabbing
Police are looking for a man and a woman suspected of stabbing to death one man and injuring another following an argument.

SILVER LAKE, CA- Authorities today sought public help to find two people involved in a stabbing attack in the Silver Lake area that left one man dead and another injured.
The crime occurred about 7 p.m. Saturday near Hoover Street and Sunset Boulevard, said Sgt. Frank Gonzalez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Northeast Station.
Omar Ruben Norato, 22, died at a hospital. The other victim, whose name was withheld, was treated at a hospital and released.

Officers were flagged down by someone who told them there had been a stabbing. Police found Norato wounded in the back seat of a vehicle, and the other man was found nearby with a stab wound to one of his hands.
“Investigators discovered both victims had been involved in a verbal confrontation with the two suspects,” according to an LAPD statement. “During the altercation, the first suspect stabbed Norato in the upper torso. At the same time, the second suspect stabbed the second victim in the left hand.”

The first suspect was described as a white man about 20-25 years old, wearing a white shirt or sweater and a black baseball cap.
The second suspect was described as a black woman about 20-25 years old, with long black hair, possible worn in dread locks. She was wearing parachute- type pants and a sleeveless shirt.
The suspects were in a black older model Toyota 4-Runner with a shattered passenger window.
