The Silver Lake Neighborhood
Council formed the Transgender Task
Group to research issues of transgender discrimination and to propose
policies, actions and events designed to increase transgender visibility and to
make Silver Lake more welcoming to transgender persons. The Transgender task
group is open to the community. Meetings are agendized and noticed in
compliance with the Brown Act. The Transgender task group will complete its
work by December 1, 2013.
Everyone is welcome to attend and participate. Please
feel free to invite others you think might benefit from and/or contribute to the meeting.
