Kobe Bryant's Last Game: TV Time, Channel, What's Planned

LOS ANGELES, CA - Kobe Bryant will play the last game of his NBA career Wednesday night against the Utah Jazz at Staples Center.

The numbers he'll leave behind are impressive, to say the least: 20 seasons, five championships, two Finals MVPs, one league MVP and 18 All-Star Game appearances.

And he'll make it 1,346 games played in a Lakers jersey Wednesday.

The game starts at 7:30 p.m. Pacific time and will be broadcast on ESPN2.

Staples Center will show a video tribute to Bryant before player introductions and several other videos during TV timeouts throughout the game. All fans in attendance will get a commemorative program, t-shirt and ticket lanyard.

And there will be no shortage of media coverage.

John Black, the Lakers vice president of public relations, said that there will be between 350 and 400 media members at the game, significantly more than the 125 to 150 Black says cover a typical game.

Don't have a ticket but still want to make it out? Have fun with that.

The cheapest ticket to Lakers-Jazz on Sutbhub as of early Wednesday afternoon will set you back $780 just to sit in the nosebleeds. And the most expensive — a courtside, row 1 seat — will cost you $20,000.

If you can't get into the game, there will be some free activities to enjoy outside the arena.

A free Fan Fest from 4-7 p.m. will include photo ops with the five NBA championship trophies Bryant won with the Lakers, along with interactive games, a disc jockey, a ticket giveaway, face paintings and a Kobe signing wall.

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority is getting in the spirit, too, naming the Metro Blue/Expo Pico Station the Kobe Station for the day.
