Stage Time Los Angeles Aims to Help Entertain Local Kids
Its theater camp is being housed this summer at Silver Lake Community Church.

A theater camp is helping entertain local kids and teach them new skills this summer at the Silver Lake Community Church.
Stage Time Los Angeles, which is not affiliated with the church, is hosting a camp to help immerse local kids in theater.
The camp, which is designed for children ages six up to 12, teaches improvisation and stage combat, among other theater techniques, according to Stage Time Los Angeles Co-Founder Saba Hopkins.
Five teachers work with the children, who are separated by age group, and, in addition to teaching them theater basics, they help prepare them for a stage production that will culminate the program, according to Hopkins.
The cost of the camp is $250, and spaces are still available for next week at Silver Lake Community Church which is located at 2930 Hyperion Ave.
