About the Instructor 
Rishi Kumar is the co-founder of theInstitute of Urban Ecology, a non-profit dedicated to the goal of finding ecological solutions for urban (and suburban) problems.  For the past two years, Rishi has been researching evolved ecological approaches to food cultivation in small spaces at his own suburban farm, The Growing Home.  Rishi speaks, teaches, and consults throughout Los Angeles County.
