An Art Show and Pre-birthday Bash

Ever feel alone in a crowd? You won't at VLM's Art Party! No one will be ignored. All will be accepted and cherished. Think of it as our version of "Cheers" where everybody (will) know your name. We kick it old school at Rafa's Art Lounge in Echo Park. No bad attitudes, no arrogance. Just fun and friendliness. Good luck finding some other place in L.A. with the same mix of creative, easy-going people.

Born on July 3rd, this moonchild's birthday coincides with the opening of the Art Lounge's new group show featuring a 10-year retrospective of VLM's art and performance in Los Angeles.

A downtown mainstay, performance/artist/writer/musician VLM branches out to Echo Park for a featured art exhibition and general celebration of life.

The exhibit will be for two weeks only (unless extended). Drop by and check out L.A.s newest "emerging" artist, VLM, and others such as William Brun, MAHA, etc. No admission fee. Free food. Cash bar. Music, poetry, comedy, and god knows what else. It'll be a free-for-all 'cause that's how we roll, baby! ;)

This event is free and and open to the public. Reception is 6pm - 8pm.  Festivities begin  at 8pm.
